It all started in the Spring of 1991 in St. Petersburg, FL, when Steve planted an oregano plant in the vegetable garden so that I could dry it and make an herb wreath.  Not too long after, we became licensed as a nursery specializing in herb plants and started selling them at the local farmer's market.  Then we began making herb vinegars and herb tea and selling them at local arts and crafts shows.  Five years later, in 1996, we registered our first two trademarked product lines...Perpetual Vanilla® and Feelin' Better Bags®.  Since then we've added two more trademarks...the Perpetuals® and Hartley's®.  Now, almost 20 years later, we still offer you products made the "Old Fashioned Way"...By Hand!
