when Steve planted an oregano plant in the vegetable garden so that I could dry it and make an herb wreath.  Not too long after, we became licensed as a nursery specializing in herb plants and started selling them at the local farmer's market.  Then we began making herb vinegars and herb tea and selling them at local arts and crafts shows.  Five years later, in 1996, we registered our first two trademarked product lines...Perpetual Vanilla® and Feelin' Better Bags®.  Since then we've added two more trademarks...the Perpetuals® and Hartley's®.  Now after 17 years we make over 150 products with more on the drawing board.
